*POSTPONED* Aly Hapert (Virtual Gig)

New date announced soon! Watch this space…

We're so excited to announce our upcoming Virtual Gig with Aly Halpert (@alhalpal), an evening of live music for healing and collective liberation, happening on Zoom on Thursday 30th March, 19:30 - 21:00 GMT (14:30 - 16:00 ET / 11:30 - 13:00 PT).

Aly's songs have been rippling across the diaspora and all around the UK for a number of years now. We've been singing them around fires on our retreats, during Avodat Lev, in the presence of shabbat candles in our homes - Aly's songs have moved us and held us, and we're so grateful that she’ll be sharing them with all of you, in what's set to be a beautiful early spring evening together, just after the equinox.

More about the artist:
Aly Halpert (she/her) writes songs for building community, working for collective liberation, and visioning different worlds. She is a queer Ashkenazi Jewish musician, activist, and organizer raised in Ann Arbor, MI and currently living on Lenni-Lenape land (Philadelphia, PA). A singer, pianist, drummer, and guitar player, Aly leads music and prayer for Jewish community, including Kol Tzedek Synagogue, Eden Village Camp, Let My People Sing, and Linke Fligl. Her songs have been sung in national gatherings, song circles, and quiet moments of personal prayer, and have moved people all over the world. Her first album, Nipple Confusion, has made fans of young people and adults alike. Her first full-band album Loosen was released in April 2022 with Rising Song Records.
